In an era where travel is about meaningful experiences, Flores Lako Lako stands out by offering deeply rooted, locally-guided adventures across Flores Island. The website was crafted to reflect their mission: connecting travelers with the heart of Flores through immersive overland journeys. Our goal was to create a digital platform that feels personal, warm, and culturally rich—mirroring the experience of walking alongside a local friend. From story-driven visuals to intuitive navigation, every element was designed to support user engagement while reinforcing Lako Lako’s identity as a trusted, authentic travel companion.

Understanding User Needs: I started by researching the travel behavior of Flores Lako Lako’s target audience—adventure seekers looking for authentic cultural experiences in Flores. Through competitor analysis, i uncovered key motivations, pain points, and expectations from a travel website serving a niche, community-based tourism model.
Persona Creation: Based on the research, we develop user personas that represent your target audience, ensuring the design aligns with their expectations and goals.
Customer Journey Mapping: We map out the entire user journey, from initial awareness to post-interaction, to ensure we address every touchpoint for a seamless experience.
Low-Fidelity Wireframes: Our team creates wireframes that outline the structure of each page or screen, focusing on layout and functionality without getting into visual details.

We then built and tested prototypes with real users, refining the design for clarity, functionality, and responsiveness.
